Earlier this year, Bethlehem Christian Academy out of Bethlehem, GA signed a 5-year deal with sportswear giant Adidas America. This agreement marks the first of its kind for the up and coming private school just outside of Athens, GA. Part of this major branding decision is due to Bethlehem’s most recent hire and current director of athletics – Gus Felder. Gus has a rich history in sports both on and off the field. As a player, Gus was a 2x “All-Big Ten” offensive lineman for Penn State University. As a coach, Gus has had an incredibly successful journey at several of the country’s top football programs including his own alma mater (Penn State), Georgia Tech, University of Miami and the University of Georgia. As one Bethlehem Christian writer put it “The future looks bright here at BCA!”
323 couldn’t agree more! “We were privileged to broker this agreement between BCA and Adidas America. Getting the opportunity to come alongside of a growing program like Bethlehem Christian and help outfit their sports program is a great honor for us. It’s something that we don’t take lightly” – says Mike Paramore (co-owner of 323 Sports).
Although this signing is a first for Bethlehem Christian, it’s definitely not the first time that a budding private school has decided to commit its entire athletic program to 1 major brand. “All School Deals” (as they are most commonly referred to) are becoming one of the most popular trends in high school sports.
